About Rob - Owner/Farrier
Rob received all of his formal
training under and apprenticeship program. Rob studied in California
direclty with Ed Brazelle and Chris Ryan. Ed has since retired and is
doing clinics across the U.S.
After completion of his
apprenticeship, Rob began building a client base. Over the past 12
years, Rob has had the opportunity to work with all different types of
hoof conditions from the simple trim to full reconstruction. He has
worked with horses in all arenas of the sport from Western, English,
and Gaited horses. Although he enjoys all the different services he
can provide, the one he enjoys most and really excels at is working
with foundered horses.
In addition to his work as a
farrier, Rob is also employed by the King's Table and First
Evangelical Free Church. In his free time, he enjoys spending time
with his wife, Candi, and their two children. He also volunteers at
their church where he serves in the audio/visual department with the
Saturday night borderlands service. For more information about
borderlands, visit

Candi Pumilia -
Owner/Bookkeeping & Scheduling
Candi was born and raised in Rockford, IL where
she studied and performed ballet. They met in 2001. While Rob was
starting his shoeing business in the Northern Illinois area, Candi moved to
Arizona in 2004 to attend college at The Bryman Institute, where she
studied Medical Billing and Coding. In April of 2005, Candi and Rob
were engaged and Rob followed Candi to Arizona where they got married
and started their family and relocated their horse-shoeing business.
Their daughter, Brenya, was born August 2, 2006 which brought all
sorts of new enjoyment to their lives. In late December 2006, while
pregnant with their second child, they moved back to Illinois due to a
sickness in the family. Candi wasn't finished with school, so she
transferred to High Tech Institute to finish her degree. Candi
commuted from Rockford to Milwaukee Monday through Friday until she
had their son, Noah, on July 5, 2007. After a short (three weeks)
maternity leave, she completed her eight-week externship at Crusader
Clinic and graduated on January 31, 2008 with her degree. She is now
taking advantage of being an at-home mom with Brenya and Noah along
with helping with the business end of Complete Farrier Services. |
